Aren't they wonderful creatures. Fantastic markings and colours. Shame he didn't move his left eye out of the shade but his right eye is magical.

I got quite a few more, but this was my favorite for some reason. Maybe I should re-examine the others.

I liked the way he was emerging from shadow the way he might in the jungle!

Yes just imagine if it was in the jungle!

On a roll with my comments -I particularly like the way he stands out 3D with the tree in the background. Typical cat a mind of their own - never do what you want - my Poppy (Siamese) is just the same. You had a fun time at the Zoo Mary, got some good shots

Glad your commenting is working Barbara. Let's hope it lasts. Oooh I thought my old mini pics would change like they do on BP if someone changes their mini pic then they all change retrospectively. I like it that they don't on here though.

Barbara I reckon you should take a bit of your famous school door and crop it into a square and use for your mini pic. It is easy to do when you sign in under your profile. Reduce the size of the pic to quite small though before you do it. No rules on size as it will still come up the same.

Oooh I have another observation that mine and Mary's latest mini pics are bigger than my older one! Another piece of useless information.

I like the bigger icon pix! Nice new one!

Thanks fr your comment, Barbara, and yours too, Kate!

I DID have fun at the zoo--and I have a lot more pictures if I ever have time to post them.

I looked at it big, is it a frosty teasel?

Success with mini pic - what do you think ? I may have another attempt at cropping

Well done - it is very intriguing. But hope you don't mind me saying that I think mini pics should be simpler. Possibly just the guitar on its own. You know more like a sort of logo though not a logo. So yes maybe crop it more. But well done for making it anyway. It's hard to talk about it as I CAN'T GET it up on the same screen as I am writing in now. I am sat here at Charlotte's on her mac and finding my way around it takes more time than on my own machine. As I thought I have been cleaning, tidying, breaking and mending a few things. Now trying to mend a freezer compartment door on her fridge. Geoff is trying to mend her oven and also the coffee table I broke yesterday. It's not me it's just that her stuff falls apart very easily as it is either cheap or old.

Yes Mary it is a frosted teasel! 10 out of 10.

I am just looking at your mini pic in the right comment box now Barbara. I did see it on your profile big. But now I am seeing it smaller here I guess I quite like the crop with the way the guitar fits into the hill shapes. So you may want to ignore my above comments. I am too lazy to delete them.

It's very nice and definitely different. No mistaking you for anyone else!

Thanks guys - not really appropriate for a profile mini pic (back to the drawing board) - I was playing around with that image and thought I would give my profile an update. It was taken outside the shop of a famous guy who makes guitars and other instruments. I suppose you would call the guitar a sculpture it is huge and looms infront of that view of Port Lyttelton and hills beyond. The shop is fascinating but it was a Saturday and unfortunately closed.

What is a teasel ? I will google it :-)

Thanks again

I think it works fine for an icon picture!

It's growing on me for sure!

It may be growing on me but in fact it is smaller than Mary's and mine. More like the size of my old one. Wouldn't you have thought they would all come up the same.
