KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
When you are working in close and want to use the hand tool to move around to a different part of the image you can just press H and it is instantly there.
BUT THE BEST THING IS THAT I HAVE JUST LEARNT THAT WHEN YOU ARE IN CLOSE ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PRESS THE SPACE BAR WITH YOUR LEFT HAND AND KEEP IT DOWN AND THE HAND TOOL COMES UP ENABLING YOU TO MOVE AROUND WITH YOUR RIGHT HAND.

when did you go, some seem to be nesting? what are the tall black and white ones??
On the Farne Island boat trip we did the all day trip to both Staple Island and Inner Farne. You leave from Seahouses on the Northumbria coast. We stayed in Seahouses in a wee cottage.
I got it wrong in my last comment the black and white ones are guillemots.
The gull on the nest with the yellow beak and chicks is a kittiwake.
That's quite the lens! It would be hard to hold steady!!! All the pix are wonderful!
