WALK AROUND THE BLOCK - School Road

OK this is going to be rather long. No brilliant images but I just wanted to show you part of the MESSING TRIANGLE which is a 1 mile walk through part of the village plus some of the outskirts combined with the rest of the village. We are starting off opposite the village green at the front door of one of our eldest villagers who was born in Messing. She is called Lorna and my friend Chrissy who lives on the green looks out for her and does her shopping.

Wow Kate - Many thanks I really enjoyed my tour around the block - fun, entertaining and interesting. I know it takes a lot of time to put together (well it does for me). I will attempt to put mine together soon - poor Oscar has either broken his toe, bent it back, it is on a strange angle above the paw, off to the vet tomorrow - maybe my chance for a walk with my camera instead of Oscar (dog). He licks his paw regularly and holds it up looking for a sympathy vote. :-)

Poor Oscar maybe not only a chance to walk around without him but if he is sitting stiller than usual an op to take pics of him!

Funny thing Kate, it must be very sore, but he is moving around fine, just licking alot. Dogs and Horses are amazing creatures, (well most four legged animals I think) they seem to hide their pain. Unlike Men :-)

Some people we meet over the woods walking their three dogs would relate to that. One of there dogs jumped a barbed wire fence and didn't complain about it at all. Wasn't till they got home and found all the blood and chunks missing. She's had two operations and cost a fortune. But her sister can't understand why she can't come out for a walk.
