These are very nice--I always worry about taking pictures of people. You did good--I like them both. Hard to say which I like better.
I mean I worry about taking pictures of people I don't know.
I know what you mean I am the same but am trying to overcome it as I do enjoy looking at street photography. We have been watching a series on tele about different photographers and I was inspired by one whose name I cannot bring to mind but he was a great street photographer. He said he usually tries to kid people into thinking he is taking pictures of something else.
The b&w one came up much lighter than this on CPS club projector and you could see quite a bit of the graffiti. This time I guess Geoff was right as he said I should have made the graffiti more visible. That is just what the judge said. Ah well we don't just do things to please judges do we.
I like these shots very much especially the b/w something mysterious about it - make a good book cover !! oh just read your above comment again about graffiti being more visible suppose its a point but I like as is - the lighting on the guy and textures in his mac - attracted me.
I must change my little pic I don't like it any more :-( - ooops just a random thought
